Marmot Basin


Marmot Basin is the only ski area in Jasper National Park; an 11,000 square kilometre wilderness which is part of the UNESCO Canadian Rockies World Heritage Site. With breathtaking mountain vistas, 86 runs and 3,000 vertical feet of varied terrain on 1,675 acres, Marmot Basin offers visitors a mountain of great memories. As the northernmost Rocky Mountain ski area with the highest base elevation in Canada, it enjoys abundant dry, natural snow from mid-November to early May.

Marmot Basin is one of the most diverse ski areas in North America for all abilities, from novice to expert, on four mountain faces. You will find everything from long, perfectly groomed trails to high alpine bowls and steep chutes filled with Rocky Mountain powder.
