Day 1: Cairns
Upon arrival in Cairns you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Cape Tribulation
Travel to Port Douglas via the Captain Cook Highway, one of Australia's most scenic coastal drives. Join a guided tour and see the endagered cassowary
and other wildlife with the opportunity to have our photo taken holding a koala, snake or crocodile (extra cost.)
Travel along the rainforest-fringed Cape Tribulation Road through Daintree National Park, a magnificent wilderness region. Depart for Jungle Surfing
- a unique rainforest tour where your feet don't touch the ground. Fly through the trees on ziplines with a bird's eye view into the canopy and
out to the reef.
Depart Cape Tribulation for return journey with some comfort stops along the way. Stop at Alexandra Lookout for magnificent views. Depart north side
of the river for the Daintree River Cruise. Spot crocodiles, birds and other wildlife as you journey through the mangrove.
Day 3: Great Barrier Reef Cruise
Quicksilver takes you to Agincourt Reef, at the very outer edge of the Barrier Reef. Here, special reefs known as ‘ribbons’ run parallel to the Continental
Shelf. Adjacent to the Coral Sea trench, these ribbon reefs are recognised as the most pristine eco-systems in the reef’s environment. Clear water
provides the best possible underwater visibility, encourages rich coral growth and supports spectacular marine life. As the region’s outer reef
pioneer, we chose the best location available to show you nature’s finest.
Day 4: Cairns – Ayers Rock Flight Not Included
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be transferred to the resort (flights to arrive prior to 3.00pm). Enjoy sunset at Uluṟu with complimentary
wine. Continue to our exclusive venue for an Australian barbecue dinner, including steak, lamb sausages, chicken skewers, garlic prawns, salads
Day 5: Ayers Rock Sightseeing
Enjoy an Uluṟu sunrise, then drive around the base of Uluṟu with your Driver Guide. On the Kuniya Walk view Aboriginal rock art, learn about the Aṉangu
people and see the Mutitjulu Waterhole. Visit the Uluṟu – Kata Tjuṯa Cultural Centre to see locally-made arts and crafts. Later join your guide
for a 2-3 hour walk through Kata Tjuṯa to the Valley of the Winds (shorter walk available). Afterwards, take in an outback sunset over Kata Tjuṯa.
Day 6: Kings Canyon
Time to relax this morning. In the afternoon travel to Kings Canyon.
Day 7: Kings Canyon – Alice Springs
Climb to the rim of Kings Canyon, with stunning views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level of fitness). Or you may wish to explore
the canyon floor, an easier shady walk. This afternoon travel on to Alice Springs.
Day 8: Alice Springs – Adelaide GHAN
Prepare for a holiday of unimaginable proportions as the legendary Ghan takes you deep into the heart of Australia. Enjoy the comfort and solitude
of your private cabin, lose yourself in conversation with newfound travelling companions, or simply gaze out of the window taking inspiration from
the ever changing landscape.

Day 9: Arrive in Adelaide
Make your way to your accommodation for the next 2 nights in the great city of Adelaide.
Day 10: Barossa Valley
The Barossa Valley is Australia’s most internationally acclaimed wine region, highly regarded for producing excellent Shiraz. Featuring premium award
winning wines, magnificent stone architecture and boutique wineries, the Barossa Valley is a great getaway destination. On this exciting new tour,
enjoy a wonderful gourmet food & wine experience in the beautiful Barossa Valley, whilst touring in a small group.
Day 11: Adelaide Kangaroo Island – Ferry.
Early morning pick up from your Adelaide hotel for a scenic coach trip to Cape Jervis to connect with SeaLink’s ferry for the 45 minute crossing to
Kangaroo Island or travel via air to Kingscote Airport.
On arrival at Penneshaw or Kingscote Airport you will be met by your guide and your island nature experience begins with an introduction to Kangaroo
Island. Tour through several island habitats and see wildlife in its natural environment. Kangaroo Island is a haven for Australian wildlife, which
exists in its natural habitat without the threat of introduced predators. Listen to the distinct sounds of the native birdlife as they chorus from
the tall eucalyptus trees. Kangaroo Island is home to some 250 species of birds, many of which, through isolation from the mainland, have developed
their own subspecies and are therefore unique to Kangaroo Island. As you travel the island keep an eye out for echidnas, wallabies, reptiles and
At the spectacular Seal Bay Conservation Park, your guide will escort you on a memorable walk along the beach to view a huge and healthy Australian
Sea-lion colony. Walk among the sea-lions as they bask on the beach or among the sand dunes. With your guide you are able to stand at a safe distance
to these wonderful endangered creatures and hear them sigh and watch them at play. This is a truly unforgettable experience!
Enter our exclusive Heritage-listed natural bush property to enjoy a delicious gourmet style picnic lunch with South Australian wine. After lunch,
take a bushwalk looking out for koalas in the eucalyptus trees. Travel through the island’s interior keeping an eye out for koalas and echidnas.
Explore the spectacular beaches of the north coast. Listen for Australia’s rarest cockatoo, the glossy black cockatoo and watch out for the Tammar
wallaby, with its small, fine features, in its natural habitat. Later in the afternoon, as the day draws to a close, see the kangaroos leave the
safety of the bush to begin grazing on the open pastures. Your group will return you to your accommodation for your overnight stay on Kangaroo
Day 12: Kangaroo Island – Adelaide Ferry
This morning we travel to the western section of the island and discover the stunning Flinders Chase National Park, one of the oldest and most important
national parks in South Australia. The park incorporates almost 20 per cent of the island and much of it is a Wilderness Protection Area, home
to a variety of fauna and flora unique to Kangaroo Island. Enjoy the opportunity to walk through the park in search for kangaroos, wallabies and
a variety of birdlife.
See at close range some 10,000 New Zealand fur seals in their colony at Cape du Couedic and discover the incredible formation, Remarkable Rocks. These
large granite boulders balance dramatically on the cliff edge, which plunges 75 metres into the turbulent Southern Ocean below.
At Admirals Arch see where the powerful forces of nature have cut through the headland to create this beautiful natural geological formation.
A delicious gourmet style picnic lunch with accompanying wine will be served in a secluded bush setting. During the day koalas can be observed in their
treetop habitat. By special permit, enter the Kelly Hill Conservation Park to see kangaroos and other native wildlife emerge from the safety of
the bushland to graze on the open plains.
If time permits, visit Point Ellen at Vivonne Bay, once voted Australia’s best beach. Your tour concludes at either Kingscote Airport for your return
flight to Adelaide, or at Penneshaw in time for the return ferry to the mainland and coach transfer to Adelaide.
